Do you want to be part of this exciting event but don't ride a bike? Why not volunteer to help out on the day?
Without the support and the time of volunteers, we cannot stage the Tour de Bay Charity Bike Ride to be the quality event we want it to be.
Volunteers are needed to marshal the course, help out at rest stops and generally to assist with the start and finish on the day.
There are a number of opportunities to be involved:
Course Marshalls will be stationed at intersections along the various routes of the ride where conflict with motor vehicles may occur in order to provide forewarning to event participants.
Course Marshalls are provided with course maps and high visibility vests to be worn at all times.
Rest Stop Helpers
Rest stop volunteers will provide refreshments for riders at rest stops situated along each course.
Start volunteers will assist on the day with set up of the event, registration of the riders, receipting of funds raised, distribution of official ride t-shirts and to greet and provide information to the riders .
Finish volunteers will greet and congratulate riders at the finish of the event and assist with pack up of the event.
